This week’s common sew is our “TOTO-MAKI” roll-up tote! The sew-along is:
SATURDAY, JANUARY 27
6PM TO 8PM
$40 PER PERSON | EXTRA KITS $16 EACH | MEMBER DISCOUNT 15%
This super-skill-building project was designed by Tess as part of the goodie bags for folks who signed up for our Fabric Shopping Trip to Shelburne Falls this past summer.
The project features darts (what? in a bag? YES!), a facing (again, what? in a bag? again, YES!), and French seams…. You guys, it’s like chock-full of so many skills, if you did it on your own you’d need to watch like 1,000 YouTube videos. Or you can come to our sew-along and make it with a live, human Beehive Cheerleader and see how easy it can be!
Your kit includes pre-cut and serged cotton, elastic, and instructions. We haven’t made a video for this one yet, but it’s on the to-do list 🙂
This is a great project for a sewist, crafter, or shopper who knows better than to be caught in the Pioneer Valley without a reusable tote.
