This week’s common sew is our “MAIN SQUEEZE” flex-frame pouch project! The sew-along is:
Saturday, March 17
6PM to 8PM
$19 per person | extra kits $9 each | member discount 15%
I’m just going to get this out here: this is a “Level 2” kit at Beehive. What does that mean? Well, it’d be great if you have sewn even once before, or if you’ve taken Beehive Basics, or if you are not a super Type A perfectionist (ahem… I know my people are out there).
But here’s what’s great about this project: it’s totally customizable in terms of the length — it can be an eyeglass or sunglass case, a coin purse, a cell phone sleeve, or just about anything! Choose your hardware size — either 3.5″ or 4.5″ wide. We’ll cut your fabric, you do the rest!
Your kit includes pre-cut fabric for both the lining and the exterior, two canvas “collars,” the flexible steel hardware, instructions, and a passcode to watch a private instructional video so you can make the project again and again.
This is a great project for people who want to up their sewing game, make a one-of-a-kind custom project, and learn about some neat hardware in the process!
